saturday;
my soul nearly flew away from me during that excruciatingly long car ride to malacca. well it wasn't really that long, just a few hours. hm. went for the most dreaded reunion dinner with my paternal relatives. ugh. at the city bayview hotel. yuck. i'm lucky i survived it. sat with this unknown cousin kenneth and another cousin jasmine. oh well. went to my grandma's house after that to play party games. i didn't participate cause i was just so foreign to them and i didn't feel well anyway.

sunday;
went to my paternal grandma's house again to collect angbaos, then went to tampin! whee. my maternal grandma's house. yep. did homework there for the entire day cos jin wasn't around. was absolutely bushed when i returned to the hotel. renaissance had new matresses for their beds! yay. they're called 'plush' and it feels so good to sleep in it! haha.

monday;
went to my paternal grandma's house to have lunch and then to my maternal grandma's house for the rest of the day. and jin came! yay. haha. took a lot of photos. this year's new year is probably different from the rest because the tampin house is going to be demolished soon.. so i guess the maternal side of the cny celebrations were more enjoyable. i dunno. oh well, went out to eat and had party games and etc etc. we did firecrackers too! the traditional ones. i'll try to put the video of it on my blog.

tuesday;
long ride home again. packed up and i'm about to sleep.
