hello weekly update.

mon
somehow ponned pw cause the printer in the com lab ate my money and refused to print the pw articles
and the library com lab wasn't cooperating
and new handphone games are so addictive
and yingdo was sitting next to me in the com lab (aka i can make gladys jealous)
so i just sat there and school ended in no time.
other than that, a very hurried/rushed day thanks to package test.
i managed to finish reading the WHOLE PACKAGE on the day itself OMGOMGOMG am i pro or what!
okay fine, i did the first 10 pages at home the previous night
and i left out the last article
(cause i know i'll never finish the package and therefore i won't need to read it HAHA, be smart like me!)
other than that i think its a great achievement! :D haha.
package test was ok lah. ya.
aft sch went to acsi with em jef stuart zhanwei to eat :D
went home feeling !@#$%^&*
back home, my ankle started hurting from falling down the stairs that morning
a huge headache came along that evening
my eye infection was getting quite irritating
hence decided not to go to sch the next day.

woke up near 11? hahaha.
gladys heng is so jealous that i always pon the correct days.
ie. mrs teoh wasn't around for harmony so i don't have to do make up. haha.
went to see the doc for some eye medicine.
trained to orchard for lunch, bought royce chocolates :D
bused to crescent to give the chocs to mrs chua for her birthday :D:D:D
happy birthday mrs chua :D i miss you in acjc :( i will try sleep more okay :D
aft that went to talk to lgp, then dad came to fetch so went home and did work.

watched great expectations for lit! :D haha so happy.
lunch with ben and yingdodobird, followed by university fair and nus talk.
quite useless cause like they don't provide any info for music @ yst or whatever at all.
oh well there's always nafa. haha. tang!
practiced for quite a while aft that, then went home for math tuition.

thurs
thursdays are my favourite days. i love math lectures :D
well there's math lect on mondays too but thursday ends much earlier :D
rachel and i decided to be guai this week and go for lit (haha)
reserved was quite funny. gladys and i were like huh?!
chinese was stupid la! laoshi finally rmbed that i haven't taken the test
so josh and i had to sit outside the classroom (2.01) to take the test
and like the lights there are all SENSOR lights ie they go off every 5 minutes.
hence if nobody walks past (which is very often except for the time everyone changed classes)
i have to wave for the stupid light like some noob. gaaaah.
whatever. bused to clementi for electone at 5, cabbed to tampines for clarinet at 7.
so super tired at the end of the day. i don't like flying reeds :(

pe was so sian la. zzz. went cafe for break, the horrid smell isn't there anymore wow!
i think the whole day was quite slack lor. seriously haha.
gp mark package test, math do own tutorial, pe whatever
econs listen, tech ms leong not around, pw 10 min discussion.. blue slip. HAHAHA.
whats with the standby thing man. oh well at least we managed to go there to practice in the end.
ran through the entire procedure thrice. boring stuff.
played worms 07 multiplayer on my phone with ben.
back to school to keep stands, collect lotr scores (ahhh tuesday!)
trained to bugis, kfc dinner, rush to yms for perc concert.
haha i thought it was quite good. i like the ensem pieces, esp marching seasons.
a train is nice, sunset road is nice too.
i was so glad they played the first piece for encore! haha all bands shd do that next time.
haha well speaking from a latecomer's point of view la.
oh ya first half cause we were late we had to sit at the back back back
and we COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING ARGH
we had to sit on the top of the retractable seats hence less butt space
zzz so irritating when ur legs are tired.
yup aft that trained home with edwin yingdo bize. bought a portable hp charger along the way (yay!)

crescent speech day! see all my old friends again haha.
not very exciting la. no cheryl :( nothing interesting.
was one of the very very few ac people wearing blazer. ZZZ.
well at least band people get to look professional anytime. we have our own tailored blazers :)
had to sit through longlonglong hours of speeches, speeches, speeches..
and performance items and of course the prize giving.
wah a hell lot of gold people. my row was clapping for a few specific people when fenghui was like,
EH ITS ONLY C LEH (cause they give out prizes according to alphabetical order) got a long way to bronze man.
haha, quite exciting to go up to get a prize. so fun haha. i hope i bowed properly.
aft that, more performance items (dance was really good) and then it was over!
went to see the band, say hi to mr lee and mrs chua and lgp, see juniors, blah.
aft that went to find a few more people, changed out of blazer
emily caught me and made me take a lift on jeanette's car
dropped off at borders, bumped into josh and ianthe, went to buy pencilcase! :D
aft that trained to dhoby with em, bought chippy cause we were dying of hunger
went round looking for tees (long story), jef came, went to collect our chippy, eat, went separate ways.
shopped around for stuff then hopped on the bus that ben was on.
dropped outside raffles city cause of road block, walked to suntec.
got donuts from donut factory :D bought a spicy cheese one for stuart haha
bought shihlin chicken then went to meet stuart and bize for stuart's surprise lunch at swiss culture
steamboat curry HAHAHA we managed to fool stuart into thinking it was steamboat
when it was actually CHEESE FONDUE HAHA well his favourite food la. haha yup.
the cheese looks so fattening. zzz. had spaghetti which wasn't very nice.
haha our bill is like nice number and not nice number at the same time. lol
aft that went to meet kristen puaybing isabel at pacific coffee
had some condensation-writing thing on the glass HAHA ben sucks at lateral inversion
bize went to mug at esplanade library, ben stuart kristen and i went shopping at marina, the rest went off
saw a lot of nice stuff to buy :D:D:D went esplanade to meet bize to mug
got some method books, did integration until the fireworks started
packed up, went citilink, the boys went home, kristen and i ate/mugged at mos burger
dad came, we all went home.

woke up at noon :D mum wanted to go shopping so we went out :)
bused to marina, lunched at food court, walked around..
bought 3 pairs of shoes from tinkerbell,
4 shirts from esprit,
a white blouse (for blazer) from dorothy perkins,
2 pairs of jeans from giordano (reserved to be collected another day).
bused to vivo :D bought another 2 blouses from esprit, dinnered at carl's jnr.
bused home, bathed, practice clar, eom, eom, eom...
and still eom-ing.
ah well retail therapy is good :) although nothing much to therapy about.. or maybe not.

okay! time to go. eom sucks. tar!

another 2 weeks have gone by..
fast and yet slow at the same time.
i can't wait for national day to be over,
i can't wait for promos to be over,
for chinese and pw to be over,
for the concert to be over..
not really for the last one, but whatever it is i just want to rest okay.
i can't explain how freaking tired i am cause everyone else says they're tired too.
so oh well. so much for trying.

math tuition. makes everything seem like a friday.

gladys heng's big birthday haha. a HUGE cupcake helium balloon for you!

stuart became my nu li of the day (ahaha) and carried the second bass clar
went to makan with gladys michelle rachel at ps pastamania
then went for dental at midpoint, blackout haha.
stuart and i tried to combine forces to finish sonic.
aft that went heeren to buy something (i forgot what hahaha)
then cabbed to mus'art prac.
omg if you order a happy meal + upsize + change drink = 7 BUCKS PLUS
so please don't be as stupid as me. argh.

sat
painting cip at 9am. thinner and thinner and more thinner.
finger-painting rocks but it leaves you with colourful nails for the rest of the week.
we slept on the boards after laying them out on the field. haha, free suntanning.
macs lunch, plus myojo cup with emily.
QC then labeling. end of cip, dinner at hollandv thai express followed by dessert at swensen's.
earthquake! haha. bus to clementi then back home. single lip, haha :P

mus'art concert. zzz not very excited.
uncle dropped me at raffles shopping centre.
window-shopped, trained to raffles place.
walked to bk for lunch with the usuals.
walked to vch, set up, warmed up.
soundcheck lasted damn damn long. read great ex during concertos.
catered dinner was so so, then backstage to prepare.
we played not bad, average i suppose.
we could go offstage for concertos so like half the band slacked backstage.
quite sian since i went up and down and up and down.
didn't play for all 3 concertos so oh well. carnival was nice.
GR was nice :D didn't really like some parts but still quite alright.
the teresa teng songs were quite nice, the mp conducted in a rather funny way so we were kinda laughing
encore wasn't so good but oh well.
oh yes we took an acsian photo :) credits to crystal.

guosheng was there for recording purposes! ahha i didn't know he worked in the same line as justin.

cabbed home with the heavy bass clar, joel took the other.

apparently joel's too, since he hummed the tune and we were like omg..
another sian day until gen called and asked if we could go out :DD yay!
went vivo! :D gen got food, i window shopped. dropped by daiso for my box file and gen's sweets
bused home around 7. haha we should go out more often like this gen :D

puaybing's birthday! :D bought her a dept present lol and us qms signed on it.
school ended at 1.10 so i managed to skip harmony AND practical HAHAHA
rotted around in school waiting for listening compre to start.
haha i fell asleep AGAIN during that 30 mins before it commenced like at O lvls.
aye baroque and classical concertos are such lullabies..
at least i didn't doze off during the listening itself. thought it was quite ok la.
waited for band to start. shouted at a close friend and felt shittier than i already was.
band prac, then rushed to hollandv for puaybing's bday celebration at nydc! with the slut.
felt super full after eating the weird baked pasta thing. zzz.
gladys came with tauhuay hahaa. on the way out we broke the pooh bear balloon stick HAHA
and she couldn't crawl under the gate HAHAHA.
cabbed home with bize and mx :D

yay no security talk for me! :D lol.
zhiwen, zhanwei, rachel, gerdine, yuyan, stuart, ben and i had to be some demonstrators to the acs kids who came over to try out the national day celebration games.
helped the pe teachers to set up the games then learnt how to play them (zzz)
stuart and i were in charge of the bigbig ball! haha SUPER FUN lol :D
we had some time off so all of us were like playing with the stupid ball and bouncing off it haha
oh there was once the balls got blown far away to we had to run after them. damn stupid la.
the kids came then after we finished demonstrating they went to play
had to carry the boards down then had a short break
had to carry the boards back up (zZzZzZ) then dismissal.
bused to clementi for electone, stayed back to practice more.

felt quite sian after school. like these 2 weeks have been so horrible and i felt so jaded. (hur so cliche.)
and suddenly perhaps what kor did took effect
but somehow i felt that i needed to do something for all my close friends whom i've been so horrible to.
so i decided to surprise them with donuts from vivo the next day :D
bused to vivo, got their orders for their surprise haha.
bought a dozen assorted donuts for them, plus half a dozen glazed for my family and a peanut one for my mum
bought some korean food for my mum then bused back home.

donuts day! haha. i know michelle was very happy lol.
was glad to see everyone smiling when they got their donuts :)
aft school went nus to return the alto flute
lunched at subway then bused home (huge rain gaah)
had math tuition, productive! yay.
dinner, more math homework, sleep zzz.

sat
long day :\ went to school at 8.45 to prepare for dsa.
left school about 10plus to bus to clementi and accompanied yingdO to acsi
decided to drop by acsi since i had time and there was lemon tea haha
yingdO left, had maggi for breakfast, suddenly remembered about the key and smsed yingdO
yingdO finished his lesson, came down for his lunch, then finally left acsi and saw GEN :D hahaha.
bused to ben's house, phew i wasn't THAT late hahaha. his cat is damn cute la.
clarinet lesson, haha tang was like MEI YOU LIAN XI!!! D: haha ah well more practice more practice..
aft that waited for the rain to stop, had a pseudo-fight with ben's cat. zzz. so fierce D:
bused to suntec, lunched at fish&co (weird people), queued for donuts at donuts factory :P
we decided to take the shorter queue and had 2 donuts each, 4 donut halves hee.
went to esplanade aft that, bought our tickets for clouds of glory then met kristen.
changed into no.1 then reported backstage. haha, we're performers! or so it says on our passes haha.
zzz quite boring backstage since we couldn't go out after rehearsing our catwalk LOL
ate a catered mc cheeseburger then went off to explore.
went green room with kristen maryanne and had vendingmachine milo :D
for some reason the green room cafe was open so we had pasta as well :D
got some tomato sauce dotting my cream skirt :\ zzz managed to clean it off though.
read gp package then it was time to go. ah well quite boring.
gladys and co started cheering when kristen and i were waiting to go out zzz.
lights were quite glaring while we were out there on stage and i was trying to smile haha.
i think the box of chocolates were quite drenched in my palm's sweat LOL.
and finally our job was done and we could sit down and watch the show! yay.
i liked the string quartet :D the piano solo was good, cool glissandos. yibin sounded damn good! haha oboe genius.
the six hands was nice, the ending especially. the middle part i couldn't understand what grainger was trying to say.
and at the end all of us meppers had to go out for the surprise item haha
ms leong was so shocked la! haha quite funny. i thought the slideshow+music was nice :)
took a mass photo then went backstage to pack/change and met the rest outside stage door.
went suntec starbucks with kristen then met parents who fetched us home.
got a swollen eye somehow D:

went to people's park OG with parents to meet my grandma who's FINALLY in singapore yay!
lunched at some chinese restaurant. caught up for a while then came back home.

one of the worst days i've had? memorable indeed, joel. really.
why do we always somehow screw up muse concerts? grzz.
went to acsi with zhiwen in the morning to borrow their mutes
wanted to duplicate keys nearby but the uncle didn't seem too reliable lol
back to school to dump the mutes and off to holland to duplicate keys.
yakun toast with zhiwen plus mel martin, then went over to cjade xlb for section lunch :)
back to school to pack things and up the bus to vch.
freaking cockup 1 - ties and FREAKING UNHELPFUL COUNCIL WTFFFFFFFF
freaking cockup 2 - the bus started SMOKING wth.
cause the uncle forgot to release the handbreak (?!)
argh there was like haze in the bus. whatever.
reached vch, set up quickly, on stage for sound check which was horrible.
ensem sound check, not that good.
dinner, change into number ones (with much difficulty in the girls' room upstairs), concert gifts streaming in.
concert starting, on stage warmup and tuning, etc.

.. i choose not to remember what happened during and after the concert.
indeed a night to remember. but i don't wish to remember anything.
it was, afterall, such a bitter day.

after concert went back to school then to holland's cjade for supper with the band.
cabbed home with mx.

thurs
couldn't wake up at 8am to call vch. woke up at 12, rushed down after lunch.
the cleaners let me in to search for my concert gifts which i left there cause everything went wrong after concert.
quite freaky to walk through the corridors of vch and the dark backstage alone, even in the day.
couldn't find them, then one of the cleaners brought me to the main rubbish dump.
THANKFULLY OMG THANKFULLY. all my concert gifts were just on top, sitting on top of the rubbish
all the food was gone but the notes were all clean.
i felt so touched and grateful to the cleaners.. thanks uncles.
really don't know what i would do if i didn't find those precious concert gifts.
went to school, called up some places to check for the contrabass clar
took the mutes and went over to acsi to return them and meet dr lee.
had to climb the gate with the mutes, hahaha.
after returning the mutes went home for math tuition.
thanks kor. what a spiritually and emotionally healing day.

gp was okay-ish. i think i failed my aq.
i don't know.
math tuition was bad. i cried.

killer day.
econs was quite shitty cause i didn't study firms at all. so i could only do qn 1.
lancelot just asked me recently 'sam have you been studying'
gone case. i know i freaking screwed it up so ya.
i'm hoping i get zero. its a talent to get zero okay.
hope you get the hint of sacarsm.
then math. i died.
handed up knowing i'll fail it and get U or something.
heck. thanks to weeks of being unable to concentrate.
aft sch bize mel stuart kristen came over to .. 'mug'
they left really late, i didn't manage to get past chapter 3 of great ex.
read sparknotes in the end. i'm so useless.

chinese was okayish. but my grades weren't spectacular.
i know it was my conscience for the essay. the rest, oh well.
chinese started late, ended even later. we had less than an hour's break to lit.
and i blame on that short break for having mental block for lit.
it was so hopeless. i couldn't think at all.
i sat for an hour staring at my paper helplessly.
the rest of the time was spent writing what i didn't know.
felt like killing myself after the lit paper cause i knew i could do so well
but i just screwed it up due to a stupid mental block.
all the more wanted to die after a few hours when my mind cleared and i saw so many more things to write.

thurs
had a really really good sleep after the consecutive sleepless nights.
woke up past noon, trained to tang's house for clarinet lesson.
haha, quite a happy day. i helped him fix his wireless (+2 hours at his house)
called starhub then linksys then etcetcetc fixfixfix.
in the end he was SUPER HAPPY HAHAHAHA yay.
aft that went to meet stuart bize jef theresa at bugis national library.
didn't manage to mug, trained/bused home after getting something to eat at bugis.

met ben after his paper to lunch at hollandv delifrance.
joined edwin michelle ernest and friends.
bize came, went over to bk for his lunch.
went back to school, prepared for chinese oral.
freaking screwed up la hahaha quite funny though
i used english, shit hahaha i said ozone gas and ozone layer. shit man haha.
aft that went to mep centre to practice for mep practical with ben and bize
then we joined the j2s at imm for dinner, mx bize kristen yd shuhuey theresa
dinnered at foodcourt then off to best denki for some shopping
then to macs for some ice cream :) bused home with kristen and mx.

off to school to open qm room to loan instruments for dsa
practiced with ben for mep practical the whole afternoon
dinner with ms sng zhiwen stuart zhanwei em jef at XO fish

practiced the whole day.

so tired. started mugging late at night.
mugged until 8am the following morning.
a bit siao but it felt good, like reliving my O levels.

all thanks to ben for his 25 missed calls, i woke up with only 4 hours of sleep.
went to citilink to eat at asian kitchen, saw amos! :)
off to esplanade library to mug with kristen, and surprise surprise mel bize stuart jef were all there!
reviewed the whole of pulcinella the entire afternoon.
dinnered at macs then went pacific coffee with kristen to mug while waiting for her dad.
back home, mugged till 3plus.

tues
guess i can never feel secure for mep cause there's just so many things to know.
music is subjective. i decided to believe that all will come back to my head when i try to recall.
turned out not that good, asian was alright cause i had much more confidence than usual
(but everyone failed asian except for 3 people, and i'm not one of them haha)
analysis was such a trick argh! poulenc came out again zzz and i thought it would be pulcinella.
had 5 minutes left for french music essay cause i took damn long to analyse poulenc grr.
i need to work on my HARMONY damnit. felt quite :\ after the exam but yet a huge load off my back.
ben came to practice at the mep centre then we lunched with soomin at hollandv katong laksa
followed by gelare! :D tuesday = waffle half price day :D haha was super late for electone lesson
ms sara let me use her studio aft the lesson so i didn't have to pay for booking :D thanks!
bize came to practice, we did the timing of the entire recital and it overshot DOUBLY omg 40 mins.
cut out 2 electone pieces and bize's piece, in the end was ok
bize got high playing jurassic and sche on the stagea, left yamaha around 8plus.

mep practical day! had a good sleep again, haha woke up past noon
bused to yamaha and set up the studio, practiced electone
ben came then we lunched at varinice foodcourt (zzz tasteless)
back to studio to warmup then the madams came
mm.. guess practical was okay
electone was alright except for a few slips that i allowed myself to make
and that final chord which i slipped at the last split second ARGH
clarinet was quite bad :\ guess it was just cause of no warmup and nervousness.
tone was like shit zzz. articulation also zzz. ah well.
went macs with ben for some icecream then back home.
kristen came over to slack, we played orisinal till real late :D

first day of school! zzz sian.
haha so much for wanting to wear our new pullovers LOL
went to acsi to return the bassclar with ben and kristen.
back to school with kristen then off to plaza sing for kfc dinner and aussino shopping.
back to school again to retrieve kristen's lost wallet in the qm room haha.

fri exco camp :D
excitement of exco camp lingering throughout the day.
couldn't wait to sleep in the vg! cold cold :D
after school went vivo for superdog lunch with my qms (department outing!!)
haha and michelle gladys and gerdine who went home from vivo
went back home to bathe/pack some more then off to school for camp!
met mrs teoh on the way in haha so paiseh
i think i looked super haggard in pullover+shorts+slippers+hair down+huge bag+huge sleeping bag lol
dumped stuff outside vg, went to look after the food in the canteen
edwin came, we went to the rooftop garden to prepare for dinner :D
haha super fun getting high from all that 'amazing race red team' shit
made a million trips up and down just for all the washing and transporting water/food/whatever
(canteen-lobby-lift-level3-lt4-backdoor of lt-flights of steps-rooftop and vice versa)
and FINALLY at around 8ish we started out steamboat/bbq dinner at the rooftop garden! :D:D:D FUNFUN
we had rice
bbq chicken/beef/mushrooms/crabmeat
steamboat veg/tofu/meatballs/fishballs/taopoks/eggs/weird steamboat stuff haha.
oh and ms sng's favourite, cheese tofu hahahhaa!
we ate for like 2hours plus?! haha many many rounds.
oh and we had to eat in the darkness -_-
not enough light to see what we're cooking hahaha
so we used torchlights from nightgames (HAHA) and handphone lights
then the stadium lights went off around 9 so all the more we needed light haha

bbq-ing! steamboating!

finally finished and quickly packed up at 10plus. haha super fun!
but perhaps not at the rooftop garden next time, too much hassle man.. haha all that transportation.
the girls slacked at the vg aft washing the dishes (ahhh aircon!!) then we went off to bathe near 11
decided to lie on the track for a while and watched the stars :D
sarah saw a shooting star! haha cool right :) but she didn't make a wish, silly girl
horrible stuff happened at the canteen toilet during our showers D:
liz and sarah went first since liz is the fastest and sarah the slowest
i stayed outside so i could turn on the sensor lights when it blacked out after 10mins
then a COCKROACH appeared damnit, a huge fat one at that
i monitored it and it was trying to advance towards me when ANOTHER APPEARED AHHHHH
i resigned to the corner of the toilet while the second one advanced towards me AHHHH
and the best damn thing just had to happen - THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
omg it was damn shitty i was so scared the cockroach would take flight and land on me in the dark
and i couldn't bring myself to switch on the lights cause i didn't dare to walk past the cockroach
i was screaming and crying and the girls were trying to convince me to switch on the lights from their cubicles then the guys who were thankfully next door bathing were like okokokok we're here!
and the lights snapped on when they came in and they killed that second cockroach.
omg saviours. heroes. i would have died screaming if they didn't appear.
quickly showered and escaped from the stupid toilet argh
gosh im never gonna bathe that late again during the next camp or maybe i should just bathe at oldham wing.
we all went back after all that drama and started our movie marathon :D
zhiwen managed to get a huge projector screen haha so we watched the movies facing the windows :) super fun!
we had chips and drinks and ben&jerry's ice cream to top it all off too :P
started off with 200 pound beauty! super nice korean movie :D
we all got the ave maria song stuck in our head after that hahaha
people fell asleep, the rest of us continued watching just follow law.
quite crappy but still rather entertaining haha.
by the time we finished it was 4.20am haha and we finally went to sleep.

woke up at 8.40am to the sound of the aircon shutting down D:
apparently it tripped or something, then kenkoh woke up too and asked me to switch it on
manf woke up so i asked him to switch it on haha i didn't really know where lol
went back to sleep, woke up at 9plus haha
had macs breakfast ordered by ms sng then started off with our three workshops.
ended our last workshop halfway at 2 for lunch tapaoed by the painting cip people
prepared for dsa auditions in the vg, dr lee came then auditions started at 3
slacked outside with manf then sat in for auditions
aft dsa went to help out with the painting at lt4 which was stinking up the whole lt hahaha
chased jef, slacked with liz at the vg, painted, painted, painted..
cleaned up and went home near 11
was half blue thanks to the blue paint/thinner that the gerdine em jef drowned me in
was so tired that after bathing i fell asleep on the phone, without dinner.

this is how messy the vg was that morning. even after we kept our sleeping bags haha.
should've taken a photo the previous night to see the real mess lol.
